Our Warranty Policy

All work & play gear is manufactured to the highest spec, however should a fault or defect occur it is backed by our 3 month warranty, this covers all manufacturing faults and defects – if you have an issue with gear purchased from us, we promise to do all we can to sort this for you as fast as possible.
SXT work & play products 3 month warranty from date of purchase. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident or wear and tear are not covered by our warranty policy.

Mobile Warming

The garments are warranted to be free from factory defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. If there is anything wrong with the sewing or materials of any Mobile Warming product you purchased from us within the first 12 months that was due to a manufacturing fault, or if any problem develops during the first 12 months, the product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Mobile Warming Distributor SXT Limited for free. Shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Damage caused by misuse, improper care, accidents, normal wear and tear or natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use are not covered in this warranty.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY & CHARGER 90-DAY WARRANTY

Mobile Warming rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs and chargers are under warranty from factory defect for 90 days from the initial purchase. Any alteration of the product voids the warranty. Mobile Warming Distributor in New Zealand will repair or replace any battery or charger found under normal use to be defective during the warranty period. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, abuse or improper care. Refer washing & care instructions.

BRILLIANCENY (New York)

We are so convinced Brilliance New York ® Irons are the best hair tools available that we guarantee every Brilliance New York ® Iron against manufacturer’s defects for 100 years or one lifetime, whichever comes first!

Please register your product with SXT Limited within 7 days from the day of purchase and hold on to your original receipt as we must authenticate your Brilliance New York ® Iron was purchased from an authorised dealer. WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ITEMS PURCHASED AT AN UNAUTHORISED RETAILER OR ON AMAZON AND EBAY.

How to get a new Brilliance New York ® iron in the unlikely event your item broke, stopped working properly, or is defective:

  1. Make sure your iron is registered.
  2. Request an “Exchange Under Warranty” form from us by emailing bruce@sxt.nz
  3. Ship your iron to us at the address provided when you complete the ‘Request Exchange Under Warranty Form.’ please use a track & trace method of shipping and ship in a sturdy, cardboard box.
  4. Once your iron is received by us, it will be inspected by our Warranty Department. If we determine that your warranty claim is the result of a manufacturer’s defect caused within normal use**, we will replace^ your diamond flat iron and ship a new one back to you.Please email us at bruce@sxt.nz to get the “request for exchange form.” Once it’s completed, you’ll get our returns/exchanges address and more details.

** If we determine that your warranty claim is NOT the result of a manufacturer’s defect or caused by unintended use, you will be responsible for paying to have your iron shipped back to you.

^ If your flat iron qualifies under warranty, it will be replaced by the same size and colour. If the same colour and size is no longer available, it will be replaced by one of similar size and colour.
